Your Business Strategy

"What strategy should you I when deploying a website for my business?"

Every bespoke website built by Sure Productions will have a specific approach to meet the demands of the business and its customers. We have seen the bombardment of information overload on some websites which usually imbalances relevant information. We have also seen imagery overload which can also lead to zero ranking due to the logical fact that 'bots' can read but not see, therefore the need for descriptive coding tags should have been deployed around such imagery.

Some websites are developed using vast amounts of animation which on most occasions looks stunning but can have the reverse downgraded effect for web listing queries if the embedded movies are not coded with enough descriptive code to help the search engine bots interrogate its descriptions or purpose.

The High Street Shop Approach & Navigation

The company website in some cases should be treated as you would a high street shop. The front window is primarily the first page that you see when you reach the site. The banner on top of the shop could be seen as the website header consisting of the company logo etc. The shop door consisting of the cardboard card highlighting the shop opening and closing times could be seen as your business times as seen on many contact pages of websites or could even work as the legal disclaimer bar stipulating the information and business rules and regulations as you enter the shop.

The main window below the top of the shop logo is the main frame consisting of the latest offers and deals available and possibly including some elements of services hoping to catch your visitors attention so that they will not only browse but also enter further into the shop/website. On entry into the shop the same rules of navigation applies to a point, for example,  All areas have their own sections and divisions but before you reach the core centre of the shop you may be greeted with the real navigational content bar or staff member outlining or showing you where to get the goods you want, In web terms to obtain the services you require.

Then last but not least would be the feedback book on exit after the checkouts. The ‘what do you think of our service?’ or ‘Customer Service section could also be seen as the feedback page.

With the introduction of Social Networking we could see a break-point in many areas of the paths to such services. to see more on Social networking and how it can improve your business [click here]
